It is in excellent condition! Still stiff . . . unread? It is a rare find for collectors and enthusiasts of religion and spirituality. The Articles of Faith is written by James E. Talmage, one of the 12 apostles of the LDS Church in that day (original copyright 1890). It contains a study of the Articles of Faith, one of the principal doctrines of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It is the 50th edition in English, published in 1971, under Joseph Fielding Smith's renewed copyright. Former owner's name (stamp) is blacked out on title page and 1st blank page inside the front cover. The front cover is starting to come loose, but a spot of glue will solve the issue. Overall, it's in great condition for a 53-year-old book! The books were published by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Their matching padded faux leather bindings with rounded corners and intricate gold-leaf design of the Salt Lake Temple, make them a part of a unique set and a nice addition to any collection.
