I will be listing many pieces from his collection.Norman Price New York artist (1877-1951)Up for sale is this antique original gouache mixed media on board illustration painting. It is titled " Operator 13 Part 5" an depicts a woman in a dark dress at night standing over a woman sleeping in the grass. There is a house in the distance through the trees and men on horseback approaching. It measures 19 1/2" by 14 1/2" and board 22" by 18 1/2" and is signed in lower right. It is in good condition with corners having losses. The caption below reads "Full Page She reached the sleeping lady lying like a shadow". It is from the 1934 Original Magazine Story John Gaillard Rides and was a full page illustration. Please view all the photos and if you have any questions please ask.
