Description: I know it is not possible for the viewer to understand why I chose to use black at the bottom and red at the top with over circles scratched off by my fingernails at the bottom and chose the tile as BABYLON.To me Damien Chazell’s movie BABYLON represented decadence and erotism and Justin Hurwitz music fantastic and wonderful. The oval markings represent chaos , the red erotica. Red for arousal, desire, seduction. I made the painting listening to the music from BABYLON.The painting is 44x34 in . The thickness 1.5 in. The canvas painting frame and outer frame was designed and made by me.I am 87 years old and have been painting all my life. I am locally known and have exhibited throughout Michigan for over 50 years and have had one person shows listed in my resume. I currently have a one person show at Creative 360 in Midland, Michigan in May of 2025 and this painting is one of 50 which will be shown at that time.
