Description: This gorgeous needlework picture is extremely eye-catching, like an aquarium. The exquisite needlework gives the piece more personality than a plain picture, and this one is just full of dimension and texture. The piece was meticulously stitched from a 1988 Dimensions kit called "Tropical Fish", #2347. You wouldn't know the piece is 36 years old - the colors are fresh, beachy, and absolutely coastal. The picture features brightly colored tropical fish swimming among waving ocean grass, rocks and coral. There are several varieties of fish - I tried to take photos of each of them because they are so detailed and pretty. There's a wide seafoam green double matte around the actual canvas. The frame is solid wood, with an antiqued gray-white finish. The framed picture measures about 15 1/4 inches in height and is approximately 19 inches wide, so it's medium-sized needlepoint piece. The piece is in very good vintage condition. The frame has some very minor scuffs from wear, consistent with age. The matte is in great condition with no fading, stains, spots or holes. The needlework picture also in wonderful condition - no fading, stains, loose threads, or holes. There are some small tears in the picture's paper backing, but nothing that affects the actual picture. The glass is clean with no scratches or chips.
