Description: Most of the information on this large carving is from research. It has been stated it is Burmese or Burmese style. They are musicians with a Gong. Each musicians has an outstretched arm to support their instrument. In each one of the musicians hand you see a round mallet to strike the gong that hangs between them. These are tall and the whole carved scene is quite wide. It would be suitable as a statement piece over the mantle, perhaps on a large table or side table at the office. It needs room to "talk" to the onlooker. It is in nice condition with flaws that only bring it character. Good condition as pictured, the bases are rough cut and one doesn't sit exactly flush, but not unsteady, small imperfections around back of head (see photos)The long arms can be removed to store , as well as the mallets.
