Description: PLEASE REVIEW ALL PHOTOS AND READ THE ENTIRE ITEM DESCRIPTION CAREFULLY AS THERE IS A LOT TO DESCRIBE!! PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE MAKING AN OFFER OR BUYING IT. NOT AFTER YOU BUY IT AND I HAVE ALREADY PURCAHSED THE POSTAGE. THIS IS THE SUPER RARE VERSION OF LED ZEPPELIN II KNOWN AS THE "RL / LH CUTS" VERSION. LET ME BE PERFECTLY CLEAR, THIS HAS "RL" ETCHED IN THE SIDE 1 DEADWAX and "LH" ETCHED IN THE SIDE 2 DEADWAX. THAT IS WHY IT IS CALLED THE "RL / LH CUTS" VERSION. PLEASE NOTE: AS A SUPER EXTRA BOUNS, I AM INCLUDING THE ORIGINAL SALES RECEIPT FROM December 1, 1969. Long story short: My parents gave this very record to my older cousin for Christmas 1969 and included the receipt in case he wanted to return it. He kept the record and put the receipt inside the jacket where it has been lo these many years. Sometime in the 1980s when CDs were first coming out, he bought Led Zep II on CD and gave me the very same vinyl copy that my parents gave him for Christmas in 1969. Back in the old days we didn't know about the RL MIX. Anyway, here is a First Pressing obtained from the original owner with proof of sale almost 55 years to the day. Buy it for yourself for this Holiday Season. PLEASE NOTE: The vinyl has wear that is typical with age that includes surface marks that will cause surfce noise and/or light pops & clicks typical with a Good+ grading. The surface marks do not cause any skips but you will hear surfce noise, certainly more noticeable during the quiet parts. (please see pics) There is a fairly long noticeable and somewhat feelable surface mark on Side 2 that spans the last 3 Tracks that does not adversely affect play and it looks worse than it sounds, but it will cause surface noise and/or light pops & clicks. (please see pics) It is certainly more noticeable during the quiet parts, but does not overpower the music. The cover has typical wear from age, including, but not limited to corner dings, scrapes, dings, fading, peeling, staining and ring wear all of which are typical. There are no split seams.(please see pics) There is a liquid stain of an unknown origin at tthe top of the front and rear covers and some smudges on the rear cover. (please see pics) I'm still grading this cover as Very Good as it is structurally sound and there are no split seams. Even with the liquid stain I am going to grade this cover as Very Good. If any of these issues are a concern for you, please do not buy it. PLAY TESTED! I RECENTLY PLAYED THIS LP AND IT SOUNDS AWESOME! But you will hear surface typical with a Good+ grading. Up for sale is one (1) Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II LP from 1969 on Atlantic Records (#SD 8236). First pressing the "GOLD RECORD AWARD" sticker on the front cover.
