Led Zeppelin - Led Zeppelin II UK LP A2/B2 2nd Press Red Plum Vinyl 1969 EX/VG

Description: Very early original UK pressing of the second Led Zeppelin LP, Led Zeppelin II Original gatefold light brown Matt sleeve. A2/B2 matrix endings and “Lemon Song” error on labels. Red/Plum Atlantic labels. Matrix numbers are Side 1: 588 198 A v 2 1 5 (backwards) 23 Side 2:588 198 B v 13 13 (backwards) The record visually grades as VG+ with lots of fine hairlines/sleeve removal scuffs under strong light. No feelable marks. It plays really well throughout. A little crackle on the run ins/intro and in some of the spaces between tracks but this mostly plays with beautifully clear audio. No pops, clicks sticks or jumps and very little background noise. Play grade is EX The matte sleeve is VG with obvious storage wear and handling wear on the outer. Spine is worn and only partially legible. Nice inside the gatefold and no rips, tears, splits. Name written on rear in pencil/biro (and on labels in pencil which will rub out) Original inner is missing but I will include a brand new poly lined inner. Overall visually this is showing its age but it plays really well. Please have a look at my other listings as happy to combine shipping.
