Description: Rare Limited Edition Poster sponsored by the City of Pasadena, California to try to eradicate Graffiti from the city streets, circa 1985. This poster was a collaboration design effort between the City and The Art Center College of Design, one of the finest Design schools in the world, also located in Pasadena. Brought together by Art Center Graduate Gary Glade, the city requested a Design class of Art Center students to come up with a bold graphic design for a poster to grab people's attention and advertise the new City Anti Graffiti Hotline number using the campaign phrase "Off the Wall". This, 14 x 22 inch, poster features the winning design of the competition within the class (showing a Rose strangling a spray-paint can - Pasadena is also known as the City of the Roses and home to the Tournament of Roses Rose Parade and the Rose Bowl), which then had the honor to be printed, reproduced, and displayed throughout the City for the Pasadena Against Graffiti campaign. This particular poster was never displayed, and is in Like New Condition. Rolled poster mailed in heavy duty Kraft cardboard mailing tube to protect and prevent bending.
