The most common reason for service for ultrasonic scalers is failure by the user to periodically change the water filter. This will result in contamination and clogging of the internal water components. PACKAGE : Includes 10 water filter disks How to replace the filter disk(Time required - 10 seconds.) The filter disk should be replaced when it becomes very dark or so clogged with debristhat water flow is impeded. 1. IMPORTANT: Disconnect the scaler from the water supply.* 2. Remove the old filter disk by holding it in one hand and twisting off the hoseconnectors on either side. (They rotate in opposite directions.) 3. Install the replacement filter disk, and tighten theconnectors firmly using hand pressure. 4. Reconnect the scaler to the water supply andcheck for leaks.
