Description: sold as is see last photo for size for sale Sankaku-yari in Shirasya, signed as: 大和守真守 Yamato no Kami Sanemori this 真守Sanemori is also signed as 大和守源真守Yamato no Kami Minamoto Sanemori, and 伯州大和守源朝臣真守Hakushu Yamato no Kami Minamoto no Ason Sanemori, who is a mid Edo period blade smith majorly actived in the country of 伯耆Houki (伯耆国, today's Tottori prefecture). The 源Minamoto/ 源朝臣Minamoto no Ason in the Mei indicates he is a blue-blooded descendent of the famous Minamoto clan in the history. there's a very limited quantity of signed works from the smith preserved, and this Yari blade is one of the very few I've ever seen on the market as shown in the photos, a very "standard" Edo period 三角槍Sankaku-yari with a Sankaku triangular cross-section blade shape that emphasized on effective thrusting and sturdiness of the blade. It has a clean Suguha straight style Hamon with a decently forged Jigane, both having some decent activities waiting to be observed under lighting Measurements: see last photo Regarding the whatabout/quality/condition, please carefully examine all the photos and make your own best judgement, the description provided is no more than a rough personal interpretation of the item and subject to inaccuracy/ omission —— all sales are final
