Description: Excellent antique lamp. A realistic replica of an 18th cannon sits in a wooden base with a rotary knob control. The cannon is solid brass with brass and wood parts. Very good quality construction. The brass cannon itself is roughly 7.5” long. Even if you didn’t want it as a lamp you could easily remove the lamp components and have a handsome replica cannon. I believe it’s a 1940’s century lamp. The harp was made by Berger in the 40’s. Condition is good. The main upright brass shaft of the lamp is a bit loosey goosey. If you peeled back or made a hole in the felt covering the bottom of the lamps base I believe you’d find a nut you could tighten to solve this problem. It could use a light dusting/cleaning. It was part of a very strong lamp collection out of a very wealthy estate. Its a great piece for any cannon lover. Once you find a nice shade you’ll be in business. The cord, while old seems to be in good condition. It is tested and working. Ships ASAP! Thanks Approximately 18” tall. Free Boston area pick up.
