Description: Vintage 1990 Boyds' Bears Archive Collection Investment Collectibles "Sebastian" Originating in Boyds, Maryland (where the "Boyds" name came from), the collectible bears are known for their quality craftsmanship, and designs characterized as "Folksy with Attitude". Each bear is similar - yet unique. Once the pattern is created as a prototype, they are then fabricated, stuffed, and embroidered by hand, allowing for differences in their look, some even adding clothing. In 1987, Boyds Bears relocated to a bigger facility near Gettysburg, PA - but kept the name Boyds, after their original location. This plush bear is jointed with movable arms and legs, and comes with a nautical wool sweater, and the original tag with his name ("Sebastian").
