Description: Acquired on my latest buying trip in Central, CA. I was immediately drawn to it. It HAS the It factor- it's obviously well painted and there is innate talent. Haven't been able to find anything on this hard to read signature, I hope to find something out. The artist, G YOLOR, (?) big if on the signature- has created a stunning landscape of a forest with a house in the background, using oil painting techniques, layered Impasto techniques. The painting depicts the natural beauty of France/Italy but I'm assuming somewhere Europen. The impressionist style creates a dreamy and ethereal atmosphere, transporting the viewer to a serene and peaceful countryside. As shown, in the picture with my finger in it, there seems to be a small puncture at the very top of the oil painting (in the middle...zoom in), and the only other issue is, it's dirty and the lacquer layer is a little yellowed, especially on the blue sky.
