Description: VINTAGE Set of 2 Heinz Green Pickle Lapel Pins w/ Safety Pin Backs - 1970s This is a WHIMSICAL VINTAGE pair of H. J. Heinz pickle lapel pins. These pins were fist introduced at the Chicago World's Fair in 1893 and are still made by the Heinz company today. The pins are given out at promotional events and you can buy them at the Heinz online store. The pins here were made in the 1970s and were given out at Coney Island in New York City. The modern pickle pins are a different shade of green and are made from a slightly different mold, giving the pickle a different shape. The pins are 1.25 inches long and have a gold tone metal safety pin embedded in the back for attachment. These pins are in EXCELLENT CONDITION. There are no cracks, scratches or nicks to the plastic.
